Well I'd like to start off with a hello, my name is Marissa. I know that none of you really know much about me, and even after this short about me, you still won't really know the true me. I'll just give you a general idea.

I was born in Absecon, New Jersey. I was diagnosed with Rhuematoid Arthritis when I was 2. They said I wouldn't be able to survive winters without being on meds and in a wheel chair(great news, huh?) so I moved down to sunny ole florida. My father was in the army but he was also an artist. My mother was a massage therapist and right now she's just switching jobs all the time(she doesn't knwo what she wants). I'm not very fond of my parents considering they are definitely not good role models. Let's not get into that. My family and I moved all over the place, all the time. And when my parents divorced it was even worst (having the whole family fight over the kids and what not.) I am the oldest of four children and I love my siblings more than anything. FORTUNATELY, I was able to move out of my mom's at 16 and I'm now 17 (going to be 18 October 1st) living with a few roommates.

I am a college student at Digital Media Arts College getting my BFA in Computer Animation. What my plans are after that, not totally sure of, just gonna grab any animation job I can get.

I'm really into video games and MMO's-Although I do not have a computer of my own yet. (>_> yes, I know. How sad.) I don't play MMO's that often. I pretty much play any video game system out there. My favorites are DDR, Final Fantasy (all), Halo 3, COD4, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros; brawl and original, Soul Caliber, and Pokemon.-at least those are the ones I remember so far.

I'm a Jesus Freak, and I get a lot of negative comments on that. But, I never let that put me down. I do not push religion on others and sometimes I feel I am treated badly because of that- I am judged far too early. I love going to my church, but unfortunately I am one of the only few at my school who are religious and basicly the rest of the school is atheist so it does get REALLY lonely sometimes. But no matter what falls through, I know God is always by my side. I know that when I get sucked into this worldy sinful place God can pull me out with one finger and blindfolded. And that's why I'm never really alone.

I love to talk. I love to socialize and be around crowds. And I also love to listen. Interracting with others is one of my biggest things. I am very enthusiastic about going pretty much anywhere. As long as it involves spending time with others. Because of this, I've gained a lot of knowledge about drama so when I'm stuck in a situation I usually know what to do to get out of it. So, if you are ever in a situation where you dont know what to do just let me know I'm here to help and listen always.

When it comes to love, I have really high standards. He must be very self-disciplined. He must be a christian, and have a strong relationship with God. And not only that he must respect me and love me. He has to be the type that would never hit a woman. He has to be very intellegent, and quick-witted(one thing I lack so meeting this guy would be GREAT HELP! ^__^.) I'm not saying you have to be perfect...but you have to be humble and kind and caring and loving. Who can take care of me in ways I can't take care of myself- and I can do the same for them. It's not just about having things in common. It's about understanding eachother. word for word. That is what's most important.
